Leadership:
Short Term:
Long Term:
- Keep an open mind: I feel like I’ve done a pretty good job this year at adapting to change and the curveballs thrown our ways. It definitely hasn’t been easy, but I’ve focused more on what we have control over versus what we’re missing. New ideas and adaptations have been welcomed with open arms.
- Be spirited through distance learning: Off campus, my spirit was practically non existent. It’s hard to dress up for spirit days when you haven’t even changed your own clothes in three days. However, back on campus, I’ve dressed up every spirit day.
Short Term:
- Pick what college I want to go to: I did it!! Picking what college I wanted to go to was really stressful but I figured it out and I made it into my dream college. I’m so excited to go to UT and see what it has in store for me.
- Save money: I’ve been saving half of my paychecks and racking up that cash. Half of it goes into my checking account and the other half goes into my savings. I spend most of my money on food and it’s horrible.
Long Term:
- Go to graduate school: This is still a goal of mine but not one that I can reflection since I have no control over the situation.
- Grow closer to God: I’ve been making an effort to improve my relationship, but not enough. It feels forced to me because my parents are the ones that tell me when to go to church. I feel like I don’t have any control over the situation.
