Each year is a different path to self discovery and improvement. This is my second year in Leadership and I don’t know what I did without this class. Last year, I learned so much about commitment, perseverance, time management, and myself. I was a little shy and scared to get out of my comfort zone, however, I’m ready to push my boundaries and express myself. As Rally Commissioner I really want to focus on spreading spirit. I think so many people are scared to dress up because they don’t want to be judged, which is exactly how I felt. My goal is to normalize dressing up for spirit days and create exciting, all inclusive rallies for everyone to enjoy. I want to be someone that people know they can count on and come to whenever. There is so much drama, stress, and negativity during your junior year. We have AP tests, ACT’s, SAT’s, sports, clubs, etc. I’m determined to stay true to who I am and not let the pressures of high school get to me, while encouraging others to do the same. It’s crazy to think I’m already halfway through highschool and in a couple of months I’ll be focused on college. I feel like there’s still so much I want to do an experience but not enough time. Yet, I’m excited to see what God has in store for me this year.
