About Me: Laila Irigoyen is currently a senior at Ripon High School and Rally Commissioner for the 2020-21 Leadership program. She MC’s and plans all rallies put on by Leadership and works to spread positivity and spirit throughout campus. Laila tries to be a joyful and genuine friend to everyone she meets and works hard to a better version of herself everyday. Her goal this year is to have more student participation in school events and share her excitement and love for Ripon High. Laila is also extremely involved outside of Leadership with varsity track and cross country. She is also apart of Bug Club, CSF, Science Olympiad, Pride Tribe, and is even the President of United Club. Outside of school, Laila volunteers at Assemblyman Heath Flora’s office and as a nursery aide for Renew Church. She also works locally at the Ice Cream Emporium. Laila is extremely passionate about running and hopes to receive an academic and/or athletic scholarship to get into one of her dream colleges. She has been extremely dedicated to her sport and is hoping to continue running in college where she wishes to study law. No matter where life takes her, she will always trust in God and stay true to herself.
